As you know, the pentagram represents 5 elements. Those are earth,air,fire,water and spirit. Each of these elements has it's own definitions,colors and significance. Here you can see how they are presented on the pentagram. In Ancient Greece Empedoclese ( c. 490 – c. 430 BC)established there are 4 elements. Fire,water,earth and air. That was the first theory of elements in nature. He presumed these elements are moved by two main forces. He called them Love and Hate. Earth This is the element that is connected with North. It is often viewed as a female element. Earth is fertile and stable and is connected with the Goddess (Mother Nature). It is the ball of life and while the wheel is turning we can view all aspects of life here on Earth. It is the element that is nurtured and stable and firm.
